CRICKET, CARS, AND CIGARS
Due to a cold and rainy weather forecast, the annual cricket match is being postponed till September 10.
The most talked about match in Federal IT is coming back in Spring 2022. After a year and a half off the pitch, pros and novices alike will bowl and bat for fame, glory, and bragging rights in MeriTalk’s annual government versus industry cricket showdown.
Please join us on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Bellapais-on-the-Potomac for MeriTalk’s Government CIO Cricket match to celebrate 300Brand’s 25th anniversary – and benefit USO National Capital District.
It’s not a five-day test match – just a fun Saturday with two match options for viewing. We’ll start in the morning with cricket and crumpets – and then close out with drinks to toast the players. Rest assured, we’ll serve drinks and refreshments throughout the day.
Following the match, join us for a classic car show, Cyber Smoke Reception, and a special viewing of the 148th Kentucky Derby. If you have a luxury hot rod or antique automobile, we invite you to cruise it into Cricket and put it on display.
Dress code is smart casual – but feel free to wear your cricket whites if you have them.
